Aseptic Pharmaceutical Filling and Sealing Technology/Automatic BFS Machine

The BFS is a dedicated state of the art system, enabling primary packaging of bulk pharmaceutical solutions into plastic containers of polypropylene or high density polyethylene or low density PE, using a Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) technology.

The BFS are performed automatically in a single machine under a controlled environment (sterile filtered air-shower):
* extrusion of plastic granulate into a parison at high temperatures
* blow-moulding of parison into a container with sterile-filtered air
* filling of sterile-filtered solution
* hermetic sealing of filled container

This Filling unit assembly is composed of filling nozzles, the manifold with filling valves, the assembly for sterile air shower around the nozzles, the guide bars and the drive. In most cases it is possible to provide special cylinder drive for shifting the nozzles up and down. Such drive is compact and is particularly suitable for clean ambient. The absence of hydraulic cylinders offer safe and clean assembly right above the filling nozzles.

  • The 304 stainless steel hopper at the extrusion station of the machine is equipped with a level switch and linked to the feeding device; when the material level is lowered, the "low material" alarm information is displayed on the human-machine interface.
  • High production efficiency, stable product performance, simple and reliable operation and beautiful appearance.
  • For large-capacity products, the container thickness is controlled at 100 points by an advanced thickness controller, and the precision servo motor controls the gap between the mould core and the mould cup.
  • The filling system is accurately calculated by time-pressure method with high filling accuracy, which can meet the filling range of 0.2ml-2000ml to ensure production speed.
  • The equipment has black and white sections, the moving parts are isolated in non-clean area (black area).
